A half day non-academic activity &lsquoWOMANIYA&rsquo was organized by Division of Biochemistry, SBAS, GU on 31st January, 2020 in C block auditorium (C010) to celebrate the National Girl Child Day (observed on 24 January). Total 113 students participated in the activity out of which 52 from B.Sc. II sem., 8 from B.Sc. IV Sem., and 51 from M.Sc. II sem. Students have participated in tag line competition, mono-act, quiz and cultural event. Also faculties were actively participated for &lsquoThose were the Days&rsquo.

The program started at 1:45 PM with welcome speech by Dr. Mythily, Division Chair. Further, the students were encouraged by the motivational words and thoughts of Prof. A. K. Jain, Dean, SBAS. Students have presented cultural dance, solo songs and poems. Students have also participated in tag line competition for logo and short videos. In addition, the faculty have participated in the segment &lsquoThose were the Days&rsquo and shared their memories and experience of life. All the students had actively participated in the event. Quiz was tied between two students. Prizes were awarded for the winners of tag line competition for both logo and short videos and quiz.

Finally, Dr. Mythily has given the vote of thanks on behalf of Division of Biochemistry to one and all for the successful completion of the event. The program was concluded at 4.00 PM.
