1st Refresher Training Session 25th January, 2020
Topic: Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance
Speaker: Dr. Salim Shamsher, Dean &ndash School of Finance and Commerce
A Refresher Training session for its faculty was organized by the School of Finance and Commerce on the topic "Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance" on Saturday, 25th January 2020 from 10.00 AM to 12,30 PM
The session was attended by 13 Faculty and the following content was covered in the session
- Basics of Accounting
- Process and Flow of Accounting
- Final Accounts Preparation and Analysis
- Relationship of Accounting, Costing and Finance
- Contemporary emerging research topics in accounting
The session was conducted in a discussion mode and was highly interactive and participative. At the end of the session, Feedback was taken from the faculty attending the session and the same was quite encouraging.
