School of Education organized Collage Competition for students of B.Ed. and M.Ed. on 24th January 2020. Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. The emphasis was on experiencing collage as a tool for thinking, as a means for articulating form, as inspiration for transferring ideas to their art practice and to encourage students to nurture new ideas. The event probed traditional and experimental methods that enabled students to visualize their ideas. The followings were the themes of Collage making competition Digital Education, Humanity and Environment. The participants were judged on their imagination, creativity, originality, colour scheme and neatness. The masterpieces not only showcase the artistic talent but also encourage the students in their pursuit of excellence. The learning among peer group will help them in future as a Teacher.
