Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India presented Draft National Education Policy 2019 to the citizens of the country to give their inputs and suggestions on its recommendations. Dr. K. Kasturirangan, Chairman Committee for Draft National Education Policy 2019 submitted the report on 31 May, 2019 to the Minister of the MHRD. To discuss the proposed education policy of the country in the Galgotias University, School of Education organized a Panel Discussion on the Draft National Education Policy 2019 in the university campus on 16 July, 2019 day- Tuesday.

Discussion started by Prof. Satyendra Gupta. He compared the role of government in education in ancient system of education with present system. He also highlighted the issues raised in the draft policy for reforms at all levels of education from school to higher education. H&rsquoble VC Madam appreciated central government steps forwarded to reform the system of education in India. She highlighted many appreciable points of the draft NEP 2019. Deans of Schools of Management, Hospitality, Law and Liberal education also expressed their views on draft NEP 2019. Dr. Shreesh Pathak, Assistant Professor, SoLE pointed out many points of the policy. Faculty members of School of Education and B.Ed. students also took part in the discussion.
