Students of B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture have visited Foundation for Agricultural Resource Management and Environmental Remediation (FARMER) an NGO at Ghaziabad along with Dean and one academic staff. The FARMER NGO was established in 2002 and it works at national level for the welfare of farmers, rural youth, women and for over all sustainable rural development in the area of agriculture and allied disciplines. Secretory, FARMER NGO has briefly explained about the Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Organic Cultivation, Quality Control of Agri Inputs and Soil and Pesticide Contamination in Agri food products. A group of academic staff showed us the laboratories of Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science and also interacted with the students. They have motivated and encouraged the students for entrepreneurship, digital India and startup program.
