Induction Program of University Polytechnic (2018-19)
University Polytechnic, Galgotias University, conducted a four day induction program for first year students in 3-year Diploma courses on 21st August 2018 to 25th August 2018.
The aim of the program was to give, the students who are joining University Polytechnic, a bird&rsquos eye view about various dimensions of diploma engineering and the career opportunities. Further, the aim is to acquaint them with the systems and procedures of the University Polytechnic by giving the knowledge an idea about debar and anti ragging laws. The idea of such a program came from the thought that one of the reasons for the disorientation of diploma engineering students is sheer ignorance about their opportunities and the direction they have to move so as to become successful. In the absence of such a structured program, the students could be misguided by the casual approach of their seniors towards studies, and most often by the deliberate misinformation given by the seniors about the course and the approach to studying. The program aimed to give a proper orientation to the new students about the course, about diploma engineering and about the future prospects as well as the adopted methodology of learning to be a success in life.
