B.A (Hons.) in Applied Psychology

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The course provides a comprehensive understanding of psychological processes their role in determining our behavior, relationships and imparts research skills necessary to evaluate the scientific claims of psychology. It also provides specialized exposure to students in the area of their interest.

B.A (Hons.) in English

Programs Overview

The course deals with the study of literature in English across the world. It extensively teaches theories and writings. It not only deals with literature but also has papers in language so that students have wider options after graduation.

B.A (Hons.) in Political Science

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This course aims to provide students with a solid conceptual foundation and thorough understanding of the discipline. Through different courses students will be able to comprehend the nature, distribution and dynamics of power at local, national and international level. It will explore contextual human behavior, philosophies, policy issues, movements leading to the understanding of real world.

B.A (Hons.) in Sociology

The program deals with the scientific study of human society, its development, organizations and institutions. Through critical analysis and empirical investigations, students would be able to understand and analyze human social activity, structures and its functions.

B.A (Hons.) in Economics

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This program deals with the study and application of economic theory and economic decision making. Exposure to different sectors (Industry, Agriculture, Services) through internships backed with dissertation papers builds the analytical capacity of the students. The program aims at producing successful and competent economic analysts who are ethically and socially responsible professionals with an inter-disciplinary orientation.

Post Graduate Programs

M.A. in Economics

This program provides an in-Departmenth understanding of the fundamental tools of economic analysis and their applications to real life situations. It also focuses on training students in Econometric Modeling for understanding and analyzing policy issues.

M.A in English

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The Course deals with the study of Literature and Language in English across the world. It extensively teaches theories and writings of various genres. It not only deals with literature but also has a paper on research paper presentation so that students have wider exposure and options after post graduation.

M.A in Applied Psychology

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The course aims at educating and training students for their future Career in various fields of psychology. Students will be provided with theoretical inputs along with professional training in the main domains of the Applied Psychology. There will be an intensive focus on the understanding of the fundamental psychological processes and research methods in Applied Psychology. The program aims to train students to be reflective, competent and tuned to effective research and professional applications.

M.A in Political Science

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The program deals with the theory and practice of politics and the analysis of political systems and political behavior. It enables students to gain vital in-sights into the working of different governments / political systems and that of the interface between Government, NGOs, Local Institutions, Civil Society and international events. The program helps develop skills to formulate policies and evaluate their impact in the context of National, Sub-National and Global context.
