Rabindra Nath Shaw is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), currently holding the post of Faculty In Charge, International Affairs and Collaborations, Galgotias University India, he also worked as University Examination Coordinator, University Mooc’s Coordinator, University Conference Coordinator and In Charge, CoE PE&CEI, he has more than eleven years teaching experience in leading institutes like Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, India, Jadavpur University and others in UG and PG level. He is an alumnus of applied physics department, University of Calcutta, India. He has successfully organised more than fifteen International conferences as Conference Chair, Publication Chair and Editor. He is the author of several International Journals, book chapters, and conference Proceedings. He is the editor of several Springer and Elsevier books. His primary area of research is optimization algorithms and machine learning techniques for power system, IoT in Renewable Energy, Rural Electrification, AI and power Electronics converters.
With the evolving standards and paradigms of the professional world, the trends of education are also taking significant leaps. Student and faculty mobility, technology and economic shifts are some of the current trends to 'increase interconnectivity.' Which is an extremely powerful pathway that not only leads an institution towards success but contributes to the sheer betterment of its students and beyond. The objective is to reach out for external sources in order to stand out from the rest on a global level.
The International Research and Collaborations of Galgotias University gives high priority to relations with the universities/institutions of the rest of the world. Improving collaborations of the Institute and its foreign counterparts hence promoting Exchange programmes, Internships and Career opportunities in academia. With a vison of collaborative academic/research activities with industries and research labs.
International Wing also acts as a complementary link between the International student community and University.
