Diploma in Electrical Engineering
The three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering Program is taught over a period of six semesters. In first semester basic science theory as well as laboratory courses will be taught so that the students can apply basic theories of physics, chemistry and mathematics in Electrical Engineering core courses. In every semester there will be some core courses and related laboratories.

Core Modules
Some of the Core Modules of the program are Electrical Technology, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Digital Electronics, Network Analysis, Electrical Machines, Electrical Instruments and Measurements, Power System, Electrical Drawing, Microprocessor, Micro Controller, Electrical Estimation and Costing, Trouble Shooting and Maintenance of Electrical equipments, Electrical Engineering Materials, Utilization of Electrical Energy, Power Plant Engineering, and Project Work etc.

Eligibility
10th with minimum 40% marks.
For Lateral Entry:
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and
Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with
Mathematics/ Biology subject with minimum 40% Marks
Or
10th + (2 years ITI) with 40% marks in appropriate Trade
For Migration from Other Universities/Institutes:
- Diploma in Engineering 1st year passed with minimum 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale
- 40% (minimum) marks at X level.

Some of the private sector companies offering jobs for diploma holders in Electrical Engineering are IBM, HCL, Philips, I-Gate, Global solutions, Wipro, Pinnacle, Siemens, Samsung, Info-Com, Motorola, Kshema Technologies, Kirloskar, TISCO, L&T, ABB etc.
EEE diploma holders can also find jobs in the public sector. Some of the organisations where they can look for a job are NTPC, DVC, TELCO, Government Electricity board, BHEL, Air Traffic Control Center (A.T.C.), HAL, Railways, Indian Air Force, HMT, Indian Navy, Civil Aviation Department, Steel Authority of Indian Limited (SAIL).
