B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering
The School of Computing Science and Engineering introduces this program to provide high quality undergraduate education to the students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers and providing graduate training in some focused area of Computer Science and Engineering. This School strives for excellence in producing graduates who will reinforce core computing areas while inventing and implementing new technology. The graduates will be able to apply sound judgment to the production, communal, ethical and professional issues of the rapidly developing computing industry.
The program will contribute towards the advancement of Computational Technologies and prepare graduates trained in the design, implementation, and analysis of computational systems and skilled in technical communication. Each of the courses in our curriculum is designed to help students achieve specific learning objectives. This program provides industry, business, or government with a highly skilled resource and also provides support programs for students in engineering, mathematics, and other fields requiring computing skills. After successful completion of Computer Science and Engineering program, students will be able to exhibit expertise in problem-solving techniques using the computer, achieve proficiency in programming languages, operating systems and breadth- Departmenth of comprehension in this discipline.
Eligibility
Minimum 60% in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies in class XII.
Or
Minimum 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies in XIIth with minimum 40%ile or upto 5 Lakh rank in JEE Mains.
For Lateral Entry:1. Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
2. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
3. Passed D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
For Migration from Other Universities:
1) B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale
2) 65% PCM or above at XII level.
