Environment and Pollution Control
The School of Civil Engineering is offering 4 years B. Tech Program in Environment and Pollution Control. The courses will cover the three foundational disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Civil Engineering and will teach the students to understand and manage complex environmental problems. Courses will feature hands-on experience using technology and equipment in water and soil quality analysis, ecological field sampling, analytical chemistry, hazardous material management, surveying, AUTO CAD drawing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping. Laboratory practices in water quality testing, groundwater movement, computer aided environmental audits and the chemistry of pollutants will provide the students the skills to analyze and remediate the urban environment.

Minimum 60% marks in PCM/PCB in XIIth
Min. 50% marks in PCM/PCB in class XIIth with minimum 40%ile or upto 5 Lakh rank in JEE Mains
A degree in B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Environment and Pollution Control) prepares you for jobs in Environmental Consultancy, Environmental Impact Assessment Agency, Operation and maintenance of Water Treatment plants, Operation and maintenance of waste Water Treatment plants, Solid waste management of the area, Water distribution system management, Air pollution monitoring and control.
