Program Overview: The Internet of things (IoT) is the inter-networking of physical devices, smart vehicle, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. This technology connects devices to each other, and to the people who use it in their daily life. IoT is among the newest innovations in the field of information technology. It’s all set to create a huge wave and change the way we receive information. Leading business organizations have started focussing on the opportunities thrown up by Internet of Things; therefore, companies are in search of professionals who have strong foundational knowledge in the concepts of Internet of Things. This programme aims to train students to be equipped with a solid theoretical foundation, systematic professional knowledge and strong practical skills in the fields of electronics engineering, computer technology and communications networks, that underpin a wide range of applications in the Internet of Things. Bachelor of technology in IoT specialization opens the door of opportunities for fresh graduates. Program is designed to offer not only in-depth theoretical knowledge in the area of Communications, Signal Processing, and Wireless Networks,Antenna Design,Mobile communication, Internet of Things, optical communication but also system modeling and integration aspects emphasizing overall system behavioral studies in a laboratory. M.Tech in VLSI Design
The post-graduate program in VLSI Design aims at providing fundamental concepts related to VLSI Devices, Analog Circuits, Technology and Applications. The focus areas of the program include Digital & Analog VLSI Design, Semiconductor Devices & Modeling and IC technology & Testing of IC. The students of the program are trained to understand the complete VLSI design flow using various industry standard CAD tools to develop integrated chips for different applications. The curriculum of the program has been developed to impart knowledge on VLSI design through various program core and elective courses and improve the engineering skills of the students through project component integrated within the courses.
