The School of Computing Science and Engineering (SCSE) is headed by a dean as its chief executive. The Dean is assisted by Division Chairs (DC), Academic program Chairs (PC) and faculty teams with different functional responsibilities in administering the School. There are a number of divisions in the School. Each division consists of a small team of 8-12 competent faculty led by a division chair. The division chair and members are responsible for administering the division, the technical development of the division and its members. The school is offering UG, PG and research programs in Computing Science and Engineering. The curricula offered are contemporary and are kept updated regularly. The B. Tech. (CSE) program is being offered in collaboration with IBM too in an attempt to keep pace with the fast changing computing technology landscape and to satisfy the requirements of industry. Each academic program is led by a program chair. The program chair is assisted by members of the academic program committee. The program chair and members of the academic program committee administer the delivery of the academic program and its development. This organizational structure is meant to continuously improve the quality of the programs offered facilitating progress towards excellence in teaching, Research and service. This approach is attracting highly qualified faculty and meritorious students. The students as a consequence will be graduating with knowledge, competency and skill set as expected of them.
