It is my distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you to the School of Medical and Allied Sciences at Galgotias University which include the Department of Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy. There is no doubt that by joining this University, you make an excellent carrier choice as Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy. We are now in the 21^st century that usher us into the new world of scientific, informatics and medical achievements. Our school is creating a new educational system tailored for the students rather than teachers. Our task is to prepare young man and woman studying medical sciences to meet their professional obligations in context of the ever changing scientific, technological, economical, social and ethical conditions.

Our aim and vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in medical and allied sciences education, research and development to promote the discovery, development and appropriate use of medications for the welfare and safety of the public. A new teaching and learning system called “problem based learning” has been adopted from the beginning. This system emphasizes on self learning and small group discussions to provide student with problem solving abilities and promote learning experience suitable for this century. We hope that Galgotian students are expected to be medical scientist as well as competent professional who can develop a commitment to their profession and nurture the right attitude towards patient centered medical care.

The school has state of art laboratories, modular infrastructure, treasure of books etc. and thus School of Medical and Allied Sciences invite you to this field of dreams where one can devote oneself to the active promotion of public health and medical practice, joining creative research work and hire minds for the help of others.

The unique feature of the program is setting up of an IBM Business Analytics Lab within our premise, where IBM will provide relevant software and trainings, to address the increasing need for multi-disciplinary skills for a global work force.
