Glamour, glitz, glow some of the entities our club is wrapped with! There are no points for guessing what we are speaking for, Fashion Show. The day the club was founded it brought with itself a gang of people who had it in them to show the world their creativity on the ramp! From models to designers, form tattoo artists to choreographers we had it all. And we have proved it in various Fashion Events.

Let’s start with the first event- Antaragni 2011: One of the most talked about events held in IIT-Kanpur was Ritambhara…And Scintillations left no stones unturned as we won the 3rd position, leaving all the spectators spell-bound as the ramp glittered on the themes of Psychedelic and After Hours!And to top it all Mr.Ritambhara title was awarded to Prateek Arora (3rd yr GCET). Along with this Heena Sharma, Shweta Chauhan, Gaurav Dwivedi, Varun Tyagi along with Prateek were selected for Indian Super-Model contest which was held at India Fest-Goa.
This was followed by G.E.I. Freshers’ held on the 21st of October 2011: |

Yet another spectacular performance mesmerized everyone as the team walked it in flair with a collection of MUFTI! Which filled in life to the event.
Another Event to add a gem to our list was our performance at ULLAS!! at kamla Nehru College held on 1st Feb. 2012:
The theme of the Fashion Show was an Open one, where we showed our best collection.
Then G-QUASAR 2012 showed no reasons to settle the fire it had sparked in its preparations which fizzled glamour, style and panache on its very first eve 2nd of March’12 with one of its FEATURED event“SCINTILLATIONS”.
The bar of competition certainly rose as amongst the competitors we had::

The prelims started at 3:30p.m. where the teams walked in flair and showed distinctive collection of attires for the ‘open theme’!!!
The Finale started at 7:30p.m. and no heads were left un-turned by the mesmerising performance by all the teams!
The Winners of Scintillations 2012 was J.D. Institute of Fashion & Technology, the 1st runners-up were Apeejay College and the 2nd runners-up was our home team,G.C.E.T.
The Best Male Model was Rohit Maggu of J.D. Institute of Fashion & Technology and the Best Female Model was Poorva of Apeejay College.
