Vellore is located between the important South Indian cities of Chennai and Bangalore. Vellore is 130 kms west of Chennai and 205 kms east of Bangalore on National Highway 46. The nearest airport is at Chennai, a 2 ½ hours drive. Bangalore too has a major airport. These two cities can also be reached by train, entraining at Katpadi Railway Station, 3 kms from the Institute. VIT University’s main entrance is on the Katpadi – Ranipet Highway.

Yes. Provided you have given us your flight details, arrival time etc., and it is confirmed to you via email. The mobile number of the person picking you up at the airport will be sent to you.
On selection you will be informed about the reporting date through mail.

Single and double rooms are available to international students. A common kitchen is also available
